Welcome to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Long Island Chapter new website.

It is my privilege to serve as the eighth president of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Long Island Chapter Inc. (NCBW 100 LI ) As President, I stand on the shoulders of an amazing group of women who led this organization to great achievements.  It is an honor to offer programs that enable our members to realize their professional goals, and enable them to be a visible and positive force in our community.

This has been an exciting year.  We presented the U.S. Presidential Issues Forum a multi day event focused on policy issues which featured CNN political commentator Donna Brazile as our Vanguard speaker.   At our 16th Annual Youth Forum we invited students ages 13 to 18 to confront the issues of domestic violence.  We were honored to welcome New York States First Lady Michelle Paterson as our keynote speaker at our Women’s Health Conference.

Many of these events were strengthened by working with a number of local organizations (see  Recent Events) who partnered with us to implement our program initiatives this year.
